Fished Glass House Street, (just up from St. Peters),yesterday from bottom till near high tide. Got loads of small tommies and Flounders. Got a small pull just after 1/2 tide which went slightly slack and then just tightened back into the tide again.Thought it was my gear settling but lifted 5 mins later into a lovely codling of 3lbs. Bait was frozen Yellows tipped with Mackerel.
Thanks to the 2 lads who gave me their Whiting as they must have been in a comp. and didn't want them!!(Taken at Smith's Dock and South Shields pier)!
