Fished the river at gateshead last night from low water till 1am,what a crock..not a bite,thats the first blank ive had for a while.Knew the fishing was slow but the river still throws out the tiddlers normally,still was nice to get out though,cheers.

Paul we were the group fishing on the corner just after the moorings, between the 3 of us col managed a tommy and small flounder for a whopping 37cms

a fished the rubber company in me match the day gt 5 undersize codling nd found a lumpsucker in the rocks and weighed 6 lb 9 oz, moved to gut on fish quay nothing, desperate measures m8

Was wondering who it was Mick,knew it wasnt any of the locals as there was no fire lol,well done to col for getting them out.Proved me wrong as i convinced myself that no fish were in the that water last night...nice one.
