I had a bash down highshore today to escape the wife and kids. I only had runnydown and blow lug because I couldn't get hold of any crab. Anyway it was rather blustery from the northeast ( ideal for winter ! ).

I fished two hours of the flood and I had a small codling for me troubles but is was nice to get out again, its been a while.

looks like you was the odd one out mate but you didnt blank judging by most of the other shore reports the rivers picking up which is great news
