Tynemouth 30-01-14

Fished tynemouth last night and was expecting the sea to be bigger. The wind was blowing a gale. But managed a nice fish about 1.5lb 1st cast. The tide was ripping through but managed to hold fairly well with 190gm Gemini splashdowns.
It fished pretty slow down to low water as expected but was sticking it out to fish the tide up.
By the time we got to slack water I had the place to myself and landed another 4 fish in quick succession biggest about 3lb to take me to 6 fish. Put one back as it was only lipped and just in size. Fished a couple of hours into the flood which produced absolute zilch.
Left at 2:30am happy with my catch
Rag and lug done the damage.

I wasn't alone mate my cousin wallsendfisherman n here came along at 11 pm and there was 2 other lads on the end aswell
