me and mick got to tynemouth for 6pm, there was more movement in my pond than there was in the sea but that didn't put me off. first cast i got a size whiting, on my third cast i got a cracking knock and slack liner so i wound in the slack and i could see my line moving south so i stuck into it, as soon as i lifted the rod there was nothing so i must have pulled the hook out of its mouth. mick got 4 whiting a dab and a haddock wahey.gif its the first time we've seen a haddock so it was a canny suprise. the only other fish we seen was a 2.5lb codling and a codling of 4lb. at about 5am we went to high shore mick got another whiting and i got 2 whiting stayed there till about 9am then it was off home tired and wet. baits used rag lug razor mussel squid and prawn.
