tynemouth club match 1/2/09

i fished a club match on the pier. conditions were ideal but it was very quiet. i saved a blank with a 6" codling on my last cast. baits used were rag lug mussel and squid. one of the lads got a 6lb 6oz codling, well done to him. that won the match. there wasn't many fish about today. i also met greggthe1, nice to meet you mate. im sure kela66 will put his own catch report on later.

I didn't save my blank but i was in very good company!! Nice to meet you and Kella mate and i also put a few more faces to names! Hope the fishing starts when this sea drops off a bit!

well done for saving your blanks lads, comiserations to greg and the rest, gutted i wasn't there but am eyeballs deep in me bathroom refit and the wench wants it done by tuesday! defs be there next time!
