Tynemouth last night. 15/2/14

[Nooo Fish]

Alright lads.

I fished tynemouth pier mast night with a few mates. The wind was horrible. Blowing round both sides of the lighthouse but it was dry so could have been worse. I got there about 7 o clock. One of the lads had a codling out about 2.5lb before I got there. We had a couple of decent whitey out and tommys. then I got this one out after the tide turned. Another one for the species hunt and the only bite I actually seen and struck into all night.



Baits were lug, rag, squid, frozen blacks and mussel.

It was my first go with my saltist 30 after getting it magged on Friday and I'm over the moon with it. Loads of control over the spool now. £15 well spent.

Been on roker today to use me bait up. Nowt but a 6inch codlin.

Nah grant we all caught summit. Col only got a .5lb cod and an X-ray flattie so he got grief all night. Nee one was a no fish and someone had to take the stick.

Aye hound hunter. The mag has made a good reel a great one. I was getting quite a few birdies with it on the old brakes but you have miles more control over the reel now. I'm thinking about buying a bg20 as well now.
