tynemouth pier 18/1/09

me kela66 and his mate (nice to meet you's) fished the pier today. fishing was canny poor and the wind made it worse. first off we tried the four posts where i got a undersize coalie then we mover up to fish our numbers, im not sure about kela66 and his mates catch but they did have a canny whiting each. near the end i got a whiting for 10oz's. i was having more luck with the crabs today. there was a fair few nice whiting today with the biggest being 1lb 9oz i think. bait used were rag, lug, mussel. i also met tombola nice to meet you mate. i did have a pic of the coalie but when ive put it on my pc ive lost it:red::red:.

nice to meet you too mate, that whitey was a straight pund, me first keeper of the year, i had another 3 but there was not 8oz between them.
