im just back from my club match on tynemouth pier, im knackered so this'll be a short report. i managed one undersize codling and i weighed in three whiting for 1lb 8oz. baits used rag lug and baby squid.

there wasn't a great deal caught, dave haley had a few nice whiting. the heaviest fish was a codling about 1lb 14oz i think. there was a lot of crabs about, i lost a canny velvet crab which let go as soon as it hit the surface
