Tynemouth Tonight

Fished our club match tonight. Started on the Lobster Potts for the first two hours, two undersize codling. Both were safely returned. Moved to the Oxfauld Gully for the last hour and a half. Caught two cod 4 lb 6 ozs and 3 lb 1 ozs and lost a bigger fish when my trace line snapped. All in all a good session bearing in mind whats been caught over the last week or so.

Nice one Marty, any pics? Did you win the match?

I was down on Whitley Beach with the dog at 9ish looking for sinkers! The sea was flat but there seemed to be plenty of colour in the water. Bumped into Kingfisher who kindly pointed out a few of the marks (cheers mate).

Steve, I did win the club match but didn't get the camera out. Thats reserved for bigger fish.
