unknown fish

was fishing down the new tunnel the other day had a codling around the 3lb mark so kept it and gutted it inside it where 2 small white fish they had a long tail compared to the body and the body was like a diamond shape had spikes up the tail the bottom of the body was flat does anyone know what these are

Sounds like a Dragonnet but wrong time of the year, maybe a short spinned sea scorpion

i know what a sea scorpion is isnt one of those just searched a dragonet up not one of those either anyhow i froze both of them so il upload a pick

last one i had like that was rocklings.... it had 3 in it! they looked like that!
