up yorkshire today

went up Leighton reservoir, just out of Masham in yorkshire while i was visiting my mate who lives up here. just had a few hours there in the afternoon. howling winds, sleet/slow, was like sea fishing but with less warm clothes! only one fish but it was a good one, didn't weigh it but was a pain carrying around, a guy said it was about 7lb, which is a PB on the fly for me!

well done mate, leighton is a big water and i have seen a few people go there only to blank, so ya did good

aye its not easy fished there 3 times now, 6 fish one time, then a blank, then this fish. always makes it better catching in a big water rather than a trout puddle tho

you are correct mate, thats why i enjoy a wading session on the derwent lol, or going down to Cardiff for a long session
