Just a warning guys , a lad from work was fishing the boat house at Whitley last night and had one of his tyres slashed in the car park ( the one above where the worm beds are ) Hopefully it might have just been a one off .

PS He blanked as well so not a very good night

thats bad crack, fishing at the moment is dire enough with all the time and effort put in not to mention cash, poor bloke, i know how he must have felt as i had a wheel nicked off my car at tynemouth a couple of seasons ago 4am in the morning in january! "mindless b------s" regards korky.

you get these posts every year when it comes too the season when big fish are due rumours of this and that honestly some may be true but some are just a keep away type of thing not that i fish up that end but it comes up same time every year when a decent fish is been caught but this was a blank time round (i mean other marks too no dig at you ) to try keep folk away its called protecting ya own mark type of thing LOL

I was fishing the same mark a few year ago coddy and left something in my car, I walked back up as it isn't far and there were three younguns hanging around my car. They moved away when I walked towards them and stood a bit away. I stopped and stared at them for a while and they wandered away, if I hadn't gone back up I reckon my car would have at least had a window smashed.

There are quite a few marks up there that have very quiet, dark carparks and all they have to do is keep someone near to where you come off the beach and they are safe. A lot of people don't like parking by the middle toilets on Blyth beach because of the "activities" that go on there. Personally I never minded parking there because as long as the doggers and gay's were wandering about you would never get your car touched, maybe other things anyway but not your car

As Korky says, Tynemouth can be a very bad spot, especially if you park on the main road. In places that is the only place you can park and they can see you fishing and know you couldn't catch them even if the alarm went off.
