how about some stories off the liars ect ,we all must know them lol ,like certain nicknames ***** lose a fish ect ;)cos he always losin big uns lol ,or stories ,il not mention any names but one guy i know i witnessed him say it ,a lad said to him before a comp,owt doin on the prom mate[any whities]? ,his reply was oh theres hundreds a was there the other night i had over a hundred and i only had one packet of luggy[shop packet]:o tis true anyone else ?a bet theres some good stories cos i meet one every time i go if itys busy ,ive more to add but il put them on as the thread goes on COME ON LADS :D

a lad i know said he fished south shields pier and there was a massive southerly sea on
and one of the blocks got washed over the pier into the river
i said where is it now
he said the wind turned northerly and blew it back over

a lad i used to work with was a proper holy frier and he told us that his brother had caught a basking shark off blyth pier one summer :D that would be the sharks that feed on plankton then ,wonder what size hooks he used :)

pmsl good replies pmsl ,basking shark eh thats a belter his nose must be like pinnocio haha,the rock on sheilds[going both ways] hehe one lad swears this is true said he fished steetly pier and he had over 300 whiteys in 1 hour and a arf :o,a was in stitches ,SAME guy also said he was on the rat house one night and caught 14 whitey s and EVERYONE OF THEM was over "2 POUND :o,he is the bees knees eh lol
