hi all i posted few months ago saying ive got my first boat, well she launched yesterdy on her virgin voyage, with cabin more than full of everthing i might need incase of bother,( now realise dont need half of stuff, think i bit paranoid lol) first stop was about half mile east of cambois pier, and could have filled boat with mackerel (still many in their millions) after initial relief of catching something we moved up to newbiggin to try for some cod, my mate pulled in 1 about 4lb then lost another 2 at surface around 5 - 6lb the reason.... had everything on board except net or gaff, still i wasnt bothered ive " skippered" my own boat now and caught fish, after all these years on fishing on other peoples boats nothing matches that feeling, got a bit of tan as well, does it get any better?

Well done jedba. I would be very interested in the cost implication re your venture as i really fancy this myself. Caravan or Boat. HATE caravans.
