W/Bay Boat House.

Had a canny 3 hours feeding the crabs tonight, started the menu off with a starter of squid, followed by a main course of rag,and for pudding I served up a nice portion of lug worm,the crabs loved it, ate the lot, and asked for seconds,that was duely served up, several times to no avail, appart from one discrepancy.I got what I think is called a nip or a munch,, not to used to this happening and it came as a bit of a shock, I didnt quite know what to do, panicked a little bit, it was a bit scary, then something came back to me, dont know were it came from , so I pulled on this long stick thing in front of me,& then turned this handle and wound a lot of this string sort of stuff in around the bobbin thing, it was very exciting for the first 20/30 secconds, then I saw something I havnt seen for what seems ages it was a fish( I think ) not to sure what make it was, can you help me out? it was about 3 inches long big eyes big mouth, cos it had eaten most of the " J " shaped thinngy ( that I was feeding the crabs with ) that was attached to the string stuff, It had a long wavey thing that ran the full lenth of his back, I know it was a him fish cos it had 3 little beards on his face , so any ideas what it was,, any way back to feeding the crabs, got sick of sticking the food onto this " J " shaped thing so chucked the rest of the menu into the sea and went for a pint, probably tha most sensable thing I did all night,,,

Well....considering that you say it had 3 beard things on its face, i would hazard a guess at a 5 bearded ling Did you enjoy your pint.
