had a walk along roker today,only 9 people on but i saw a few coming in
coalies,flatties whitties and one codling,codling was undersize but nice to see.
couple lads from preston on the pier for the first time,he said fishing at preston very poor so he and his mate stopping in sunderland for a weekend of fishing.
gave him a few pointers on where to fish on the pier because they were fishing on a very rough ground and were losing weights,one of them had a coalie first cast about 1lb.
sea was getting abit rough so it may be closed for the weekend.
and it was bloody cold.
