Hi all went fishing on Friday it was blowing 20 mph NNE which is a little strong for where I planned to fish which was the slab on Ssp, so I took shelter at the walk way. It wasn't the best tide to fish there but there was no where else to fish with the time I had, it wasn't a bad session I had 1sized coaly and 3 Tommy coddling in about 1 and half hour. Blowing NE is a good thing for the Tyne it really lifts the bottom up and brings the fish to feed but my social carer was soaked through and freezing so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted too it wasn't fare to him. The fish were really on the feed I was casting 90 yards and getting bites with in 3 minutes every cast and as the tide really started to ebb and pull the bites only intensified I was using crab and rag.
