Had a good few hours out today from about 10 ish.

Using fresh crab, rag and frozen blacks.

Was quiet at first, then about 11 had me first double of flounder and dab (I think lol) first ever dab Ive caught.

went on from there with either flounder, dab or whiting each cast, only small like, one dab was a canny size, and a flounder that was ok. All went back.

not sure what the eel looking thing was either?

Aye things change in life Parky I was shocked when I went back there after 30 odd years ago it used to be a good mark, but I think it could still yeild some decent fish if fished at the right time.

Is that the walkway yer on about falling into disrepair? Just asking as when I was last there earlier this year the state of the place was fine. Just sommit about the atmosphere of the place I hate but as said it will produce some cracking fish.

I fished there from around half 7 til half 10pm (Fished the ebb). Ended up with a mackerel first cast (was bait fishing but saw some sprat jumping all over in fron of me so decided to reel in very slowly. It duely took my lug worm on the retrieve). I then got a few whiteys, an eel and 3 codling (1 undersize and 2 around the 1 1/2lb mark). Not too bad for a few hours
