Walkway 22.04.13

Well with the boat fishing starting as it ended last year i.e crap, i was reduced to getting the shore gear out and going tiddler bashing.

Fished the walkway using crab,ragworm and mackerel 2hrs up 1 hr down and ended up with 4 codling and 2 coalie all between 7" and 9"...the wind was blowing hard but still fishable.

Hoping to get out at sea this weekend but if not a sesh launce fishing on the pier is in order

Was up there last night between 7.30 and midnight. First hour or two was ok. Got 2 small codling and a dab. Other 2 lads got a a few more codling each early on. Went very quiet as night went on got a couple of rockling but little else happening. Fair few small coalys on one of the lads handlines and float but that was it.

Got you out the house for a few hours. I was thinking of trying for a few Plaice from the pier one day this week for a bit sport.

Cheaper catching tiddlers on the shore than out at sea atm, better than blanking aswell mate.
