Walkway 30/10

Fished last 3 hours of ebb today. Caught 2 decent coleys just under size and 2 little codling about half a pound each. All returned naturally. Could only get a bite on frozen crab. Lug, mussel and cart not touched other than by crabs.

I was tempted mate, but I don't feel ready for matches just yet. I need to learn more about this game first. Next time you are fishing those cliff marks round your way could I tag along ?

Magpies, if your not going to fish the open then i would advise anyone including yourself to put a decent pair of walking boots on and walk the cliffs and beaches from Latimers down to the Big beach at Shields and take a notebook, pen and camera. The majority of anglers will be more than happy to point you in the right direction about how to fish the cliff marks. I will be along there somewhere hoping to get stuck into a piggie!
