Walkway. Hard gannin

Fished 3 up 2 down. To much rain water. Tommy every other cast, loadsa crabs. Had 1 for about 2.5lb last cast. Only real bite of the day. Hard work. Roll on these northerlys !!!

I'm having a few hours tonight, just getting sorted now.

Nice fish mate, I fished the walkway from 6.30 this morning until 10.30, like yourself it was very hard going. I got a half pound codling about 8ish and a crab a bit later but nothing else not even any bites, so gave up and went home for a cuppa. Where's all the whiting this year, last year you were guaranteed a bagful. Anyway my codling was caught on mussel, baits used blow lug, black lug, mackerel, squid and mussel.

Oh right was that you, the big fella lol, yeah really bad fishing today. Another fella came and fished opposite side of me and his first cast his rod was bent over, I felt like jumping in the water man haha, turned out to be seaweed like, PHEW haha.

nice one m8 at least you managed a sized cod me and bingham where on the pier friday night waste of time im gonna try and get out tomorrow if there's a bit swell on mite pull one out

According to magicseaweed (my surf report site) there should be a nice swell all next week but peaking around monday/tuesday at 9ft surf!! Happy days, should still something up and get a few fish moving in.

Hey Steveo, did you notice that man free boat floating into the middle of the river when you got down, forgot to mention that one was a bit mad. I was expecting the big DFDS ferry to take it out lol.

plenty of fish on the end of the pier yesterday steveo few nice codlings to just over 2lbs and some cracking whitings olly had a bucket full then soon as it got dark it went dead

The river war lifting with whiting this time last year, few and far between at the minute. Mabye that's the start eh.
