Walkway then Brighams 07/02/2013

Fished the Walkway last night 9pm - midnight hoping for a coddy on one rod or a new species on the other with a selection of baits and rigs. First cast landed a tommy on mackerel then a couple of hours later another tommy on rag. The weed was a nightmare pulling in loads every cast so by midnight I'd had enough and moved to Brighams to fish over high water. No weed problems there at all but all I managed was one more tommy this time on lug tipped with prawn. Packed up about 2am. A quiet night. Thanks to the two lads at the walkway who gave me their leftover bait which turned out to be a ton of ragworm - I still have a load left for another session, cheers lads

Nice report Mike, better than blanking but must say I expected some decent fish to be about after the sea was away. I've been sick as a butchers with this flu, dieing to get out now after reading these reports lol.
