[Pete from shields]

I fished the walkway 9am - 3pm, baits used peelers, blacks and bluey. set 2 rods 1 at distance 3/0 pennel and big crab bait, other rod scratching rig 2 hook flapper size 1 hooks. I thought after the swells with the peelers in full swing now I would be in with a chance, I got a dab and a whiting both to blacks and bluey. The peelers never got a sniff, coming back untouched or with an extra crab.

I seen a 3-1/2lber and 2lber pulled in to the left and right of me, typical ey haha. The only 2 or 3lber I could get was seaweed lol its really bad down there every cast masses of the stuff.

I usually don't bother taking pics of whiting anymore but today for some reason I did, I must of been happy to see him haha.

nice report m8, least you didnt blank, was it fresh or frozen peeler you were using. nice to see people getting amongst the codling though i suppose.

Yeah no blank today, tbh I was just happy to be out lovely day aswell, I was talking to a fella who had fished the pier from 6am and he blanked. It was frozen peeler I used, I blanked with it when it was fresh aswell LMFAO.

haha made me laugh that m8 with the peeler. i have fresh and frozen too lets see what happens will report back tomorrow morning.

Well m8t that makes the Walkway look good for the weekend hopefully i might hit one of those stray coddies ha-ha thats with a lot of luck too
