Warkworth area fishing marks???

Heading up to warkworth this coming weekend for a couple of romantic nights away with wor lass. Little does she know that the rod will be keeping us company too.

Anyway, can anyone recommend a decent mark or two in that area? I'm simply looking for some decent sport for a few hours here and there, flatties and whiteys are fine by me! Cheers lads.

Warkworth beach is dam good for bass in the warmer months. This time of year though it will still produce a good number of flatties, failing that boulmer is just up the road if you want to get on the rock ends for cod.
