Very hard going on sunday the rough ground proved the best with plenty of fish early on cod to five and half pound and a few ling which were returned a few mackerel were caught but not in any great numbers the fishing quietened off by midday tried at least 5 wrecks with only a couple of fish taken it did not help with the wind and rain lashing down at the end of the day there was about 50 fish on board. No 1 crewmen sconner only had 2 mackerel and he managed to hook a seagull which took his bait while his gear was hanging over the side of the boat, the bird was safely unhooked and flew off. Shads and rippers did nowt majority of the fish were taken on baited daylites and hokias.

P.S Duncan sconner had ya bib and braces on again.

Dunk....You need to have a word with that young whipper snapper....he might fill your bib n braces, but he'll never fill your boots...:D:D;)
