bad start to sat. broken flask and not even at sea:mad:

out the piers by 8 and rollin rollin rollin,in a nasty swell,which dropped off by lunch time.

fishing was nuffink special:( some of the wrecks,some off the ground,best about 6 pound:)
water clear,plenty mackarel about,no particular bait or lure stood out on the day:exclam:


sunday its a nice n flat:) orf to the east we gans the noo,with hope in our hearts:exclam:

a few fish fom a couple of wrecks saw us arriving at the "big coley" wreck:) guess what:question: no coley:exclam:

and guess what had replaced them:question: codlings:exclam::exclam:

and guess what:question: they were all just size(too flaming small,but plenty of em:)

sport dying off now (afternoon,wind against tide,boat standing still,lines fleeeeein awa :(

at this point jeff had a 7lb pollock,and the sweep money in his pocket:(


off to the ground we went,water none too sparkling,but clear enough to produce us a few codlings and a 10lb ling:Dbye bye sweep money jeff:D:D:D

and so it ended,plenty mackies aboot still :D

the best part of the day was no2 crewman being ill aaaal day,hope hes better in the next ten years or so
 
I would have cancelled the trip till the coffee situation was resolved:D
Sounds like plenty action still with one or two nice fish thrown in. Did No2 crewman ever find Hughie. Good report:):)
