wel, with the prospect of a day shoppin for baby things and bein dragged round the silverlink i managed to convince the other half that she would be better off goin with me step mother and lettin me nip oot fishin with me dad.

anyway with conditions not being ideal and a few of the party being less than experienced we decided to stick to the ground for best part of the day, just hittin a few wrecks on the way home, the fish came in slow but steady, (especially for me since i caught the most again) with the crewman supremo sconner close behind.

1 of the most notable incidents of the day was the chinese lass on board havin a bit trouble getting a fish in so super sconner stepped up to the plate and took over only for a giant seal to surface with the fish in its mouth, after wrestling the fish from the seals mouth he managed to reel it in rapidly as the seal followed open mouthed, an achievement i am sure substitute crewman duncan would have struggled with!!

nothing big came aboard with the fish being almost all cod around the 2-3 lb mark and numbers in the region of 35-40, but like the old man says better than bein at work and certainly better than shoppin!!

all in all a good day out considerin we were expectin that wind to come through and the rain to wash us out!!
