Fished last night chaps at the warriors,not a sniff,had lug,rag,mussel and peeler.Packed up about 12,then headed to the tyne up near spillers.wished i had just went there in the first place lol, had a few fish couple of small whiting,then the codling showed up.Had a couple to 2lb mate had a raking bite but got off,had nice bend in the rod too,he ended up with a couple too.Im going back down tonight but think i will try the felling side near the Friars goose area.Think the river will fish well nowcant wait,cheers.

welldone paul not a bad result, i was down the usual mark last night, bit slower than the friday but all 5 of us managed to get amongst the codling, nowt big but me and col lost 2 corkers
