me n beach boy headed to the wear at low water..with the specific plan of targeting flounders/ coleys n hopefully eels for me. got there wind made it a nightmare to set up with my rod ending up on the wrong side of the railings . with plenty of help from beachboy i got it back. needed a rollie to calm the nerves after that and realised did not bring baccy...this was gonna be one of them sessions.....anyhow got set up tried 2 hook and 3 hook flappers. hook sizes varied from size 4 all the way to 2.0s aberdeens n limericks.. baitswere leftover winter squid, peeler legs, salted white rag /runnydown n prawns...landed 5 flounders all good sized between us with 3 of em to beach boy, size wise as well. cheers to beach boy for the trip again. was good to be out and acheve target species . albeit just one .
i might have a look out this afternoon coz am bored as hell and sick of the missis
