Most countries have a climate with recognisable seasons.
The UK just gets weather, and lots of it, and we also (as a nation) seem have a preoccupation with it that I've not encountered abroad - possibly due to other countries being entirely smug about the fact that their weather is nothing like ours...
We can't control it so we can only roll with whatever comes our way - by and large the UK is always "too" something:
too hot (rare, I know )
too cold
too wet
too dry
too windy
too...
It gets old pretty quick though, waiting for a spell where the weather is at least OK enough to get out. Combining that with a decent tide and a fish or three is the trick...
I'd rather have our hodge podge mixed bag than the horrific floods, tidal waves, hurricanes et al that many other countries have seen...
Your right there yes its not nice but other country's have major problems as say
