With the forcst giving light winds for this morning, thought I'd give it a couple of hours fishing, so headed for the rough ground, only to get one bite that produced a codling of 1 pound, which had swallowed the hook.
There was still a bit of a roll from the east and a gentle breeze, so headed over to a near wreck. First drift produced a codling about 3lb, then another on the next drift.
couple of barron drifts then a large pouting, then another codling.
the wind now starting to freashen and the bites gone, called it a day with 5 fish to take home.
The water is still very dirty, we need a week of light westerly's.
