Not looking promising for the weekend 40mph sw winds Sat then going East but bit lighter for Sunday..rain both days, off Monday so maybe get a chance then, ow caught 3 herring in the mariner today with a landing net lol

I have things to do this weekend and was trying to think of ways to sack them off, so for me the weather is probably for the best. Stop me being tempted. :)

that's the uppermost (gusting) range mind...an optimist would consider the middle column and suddenly the forecast looks that little bit better :p:D

either way I hope that if we do get out that Norman is only joking about 0330 starts :o

I defo no optimist lol but still hoping to maybe sneak out for a few hours...worst comes to worst it will be a 1.5k drift with the wind, cant see it getting up much as mainly from the south west and was out in 25mph sw on Friday and the sea was ok.

MMrrrr not sure?????? should i should i not..been down today and it was rough in the river with the 40mph gusts but mod dropping to slight says the met???????

Well we'll just tough it out then ........ as long as it's safe then it's worth a crack and I have nowt but confidence Norman .

You remember the first few trips with me erm how can I put it ...

" Are you sure this is safe ?" :D:D:D .

Lesson learned there :)

Was down on the river 11.30 am today (Tyne) and it was very choppy, then went down this evening and its flattened off now and the wind has dropped...and the sea has calmed a lot since this morning, but there are still white horses at approx 2 miles off at approx 7 pm...if it keeps on like it is, it looks like Normans forecast is spot on. Alans too.....( as soon as I've fixed my leaky water pump, and sorted my self igniting starter motor..) I hope to be out in the next week or so, too.
