me and my 12 year old daughter went to sharpley this afternoon i blanked she had 7 rainbows in the net and lost 3 on the way in so ive banned her for showing me up..

Always the same when you take the bairns fishing mate , makes me laugh remembering the days when I used to do it with my lads ....mind you I do miss it as well so make the most of it :)

its £9 plus £3 for the bairn for a 4 hour ticket keep 1 fish i bought her a 6 to 7 weight 9 foot shakespear oddesy rod from reelsport its a cracking rod for 25 quid i got her a cheapie reel of fleabay for 7 quid and some 7 wt line of ebay for a tenner but i find it ok on grass but i dont seem to be able to load rod on the water so i might get her some better line ..

Great videos and picture Rod, cheers mate it doesn't get much better than that. Well done Laura, you keep your dad right :D :D Amazing how often it happens though, whether it's a daughter or a mate that hasn't fished before, they always show you how it's done.

Congratulations Laura, you have done better than me, maybe i will see you up at sharpley 1 day and you can give me lessons.The vids were great.Say thanks to dad for taking you but BRAG about catching more than him :red:

Is that you's that get out practicing on Brinky field (next to the astro turf pitch at Mortimer school). Careful you don't catch some small brown Richard III's on there.
