Im not a doggy lover myself, but we are going to a place called trivially bay[i think that is how it is spelt], it is a small shingle beach that has a good depth and it is only a few yards from where you park your car , so you can leave your eatables in the car and then you don't leave litter ,it is a very comfortable place to fish with a good variety of species , and yes the doggys are there, but there is [or i hope there is] quite a few other types of fish, there is even a possibility of getting a tope, got my fingers crossed, but we will have to wait and see---Karl

Spinning over high water late in the evening or early morning in front of Terrally Riding Centre might get you a bass if they're about. Fish baits will throw up doggies and huss off that beach.

A change of plan ,we are now going up today [friday] afternoon and stopping until tomorrow night , and after all night at trivially bay ,in the morning [saturday] we are going to portpatrick for the rest of that day or until we get sick--Karl
