Well done eddie...great report.

Fishing on the west coast of scotland is certainly addictive if only for the variety of different species you encounter...and in the case of Oban the depth.

I used to go camping on my motorbike up the west coast of Scotland.
Had some lovely days out.
One problem was the amount of midges.
Are they still as bad.

They sure are :o For some reason they love me but I have discovered a spray that stops them getting me. Its used by the army now too and is much more effective than all the jungle formula stuff that I have tried. What is it?.......Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray in Woodland fresh fragrance:p So for anybody heading up to Scotland I suggest that you get the missus to get some for you.:)
