Me and our lass have just come back and the fishing was spot on the first night we were there our lass Julie had a pollack 2 pound 12 i had nowt. the next day we went for a few razor clams for bait for the winter then straight to the spot where Julie caught her pollack we had loads of small pollack about 1lb to 2lb and then i got one 3 1/2lb all the pollack were caught on small shads. I also done a bit bait fishing and got a doggie on light gear some small codling and pollack.
the second week we had a boat trip organised out of Oban for skate well it turn out to be a cracking day Julie caught her first doggie and her first conger which weighed in at 32lb she was screaming like gissie once it was on the boat and seen how big it was lol it was a cracking fish i got a doggie and me dad got a black mouth doggie there was skate caught as well as thornys and smoothhounds the skipper of the boat was Ronny Campbell we were out with him last year and we will be going back next year.
the rest of the holiday we were macky bashing and went for a few more pollack the average size were about 2 to 3lb. i also took my foldy up crab pot and got loads of eaters and velvets. here is a couple of pics.

it cost 50 qiud a man mate and the lad we were out with supplied all the gear.
