FISHING REPORT 13/10/09
Loads of surface activity this week with nice mild weather for the time of year. Dries and Buzzers have been working very well or at times pulling a Muddler across the surface has resulted in fish chasing. Black and olive patterns seem to be the colours.
Plenty of fish caught this week. Deon Lindsay of Dalington caught a nice Rainbow of 6lb 2oz on a Zonker. William Smith of Thirsk caught a rainbow of 13lb on a Yellow Blob one of 9 fish he caught in total. Stephen Williamson of Ferryhill caught 16 fish on a variety of dry flies and daddy's. Father and son Peter and Mark Johnson landed between them 14 fish the best a Brown trout of 4lb. Local angler Ernie Crowe caught 12 fish on a variety of lures and small patterns.
