FISHING REPORT 21/09/10
As conditions cool down the fishing is getting better. Although the high winds have made casting difficult for anglers the fish have loved the conditions and are feeding very well. Buzzers and dries have worked very well just drifted around in windy conditions
Regular J Howard fished the lakes on three days and caught a total of 59 fish most taken on buzzers and small dries. Another regular Paul Chaytor keeps landing plenty of fish including a Carp estimated at 20+lb most of his fish taken on mini lures and blobs. John Peacock of Durham landed a rainbow of 17lb caught using a Cats Whisker his only fish of the day on his last cast. Peter Johnson of Crook caught 11 rainbows and a 5lb Brown on a selection of Buzzers
The best flies this week were Diawl Bach’s, Damsels, Crunchers,CDC’s, Black Hoppers, Hares Ears and mini lures.
