What lb line on rigs

Got a yuki rubby h rod and a tiny spinning reel

which I've put 8lb line on for mini species down the side of piers and rock pools was wondering what lb line to use for making rigs with tiny hooks size 6-10

I just use small jig heads mick saves the f on with rigs, When i have used rigs i use 5-8lb hook snoods with size 8 to 16 hooks but sometimes tend to knot or tangle a bit especially down the side of pier walls, Most rock pools arent really deep enough to use rigs so a bit rag on a jig head and watch the mini species dart out and grab it.. great fun
