hi ive only being a member around a year I like reading reports and put a few up my self I tell people were I get fish it might take me a few weeks home work on marks but that's fishing I don't give a f*** if people fish that mark good luck to then . ive got a lot off help from members but I don't see why people put reports on ie . up north . south off seaham you don't have to say were you are fishing but I cant see the point saying this and that and not saying the area I canot see the point off putting a report on . ie I fished a ,mark last night got 20 coddling biggest 10lb and no pic ????

Not many anglers like to tell every one there marks but theres loads that
do to me I am not bothered wether they say or not as I don't chase reports
I have my own spots but I say where I fished but that's me.

One night me and the boy fished the hall beach and we had fish out he had a
7lber out I put a report up and the next night we could get where we fished
so we had to move which we still had fish. but the point is lads don't put the
marks up for that reason.

I never chases reports I have my marks I think might fish depending weather . but all i.am saying is people say this site is good for helping members new and old ?. I cant not see the point off reports saying this and that and not saying the area . you don't have to say the mark but theres no harem in saying . seahouses/beadnell or amble ect ?????

Get over it, its just a catch report, unless your into chasing ghosts why does it matter ?
Chill and enjoy your fishing. ;)

Pointless topic as some will give marks in catch reports and others wont so pointless going on about it, I enjoy reading reports even if marks arent disclosed as I fish where i want to fish not chasing others reports so it doesnt matter to me regardless, I just enjoy the read and seeing good fish caught

Moot point really. There are those for disclosure, and those against, and there always will be,so whingeing about it,won't make a blind bit of difference.
Remember,it's a forum,not a fishing club.

get over what ??? all I am saying is give a bit more info theres no harmer in that

To be honest if you don't chase reports why are you bothered I had fish last night and a lad I know had fish there the night before but as he didnt tell anyone I could fish there. Take hendon for example you see the same faces most of the time till some one reports they have had fish then you end up fishing shoulder to shoulder.

I live in Scotland and come down your way 3 times a year, mostly for charter boat fishing.

However I love reading shore reports of guys catching fish.

I couldn't care less where they fished and neither should you!

If you want someone to tell you where and when to fish, then you should ask somewhere else mate!!

This is a fishing forum, not a school for the lazy fisherman!!

I'm pretty new to nesa and I enjoy reading the catch reports weather they give the location or not . But when lads are willing to go out of their way to help like this does it really matter if they don't want the world to know their best marks .
Nice offer by the way mate

this also bugs me

this also bugs me

Can't blame people for keeping there marks quiet but do think catch reports should be accompanied by a few photos ,
on a simular topic.WHY do some members not type in there LOCATION when joining nesa.many an answer to a thread, starts off whats your location, ie rod for sale,no location listed.ps,you watch next new member will type in there location {UP NORTH}.hahaha.tight lines.:thumbup:
