Whats the sea like?

I know its wet .
I live in Durham - thinking of having a look today - just wondering if anyone has seen the sea? Is it too big to fish the beaches today?

It's dropped right off mate. Can appreciate you wanting to know what it's like, especialy in this weather. Try logging onto StVedas surf shop. They have a 'still' web-cam, but ifyou look at the options list on the right hand side of their site, they also have a 'live web cam' which shows moving pictures as the sea is now.
I use it all the time. Although it is some 70 miles up the coast, it gives you a very good idea of the sea conditions locally.

I came off Blyth Pier about 3-15pm today Cambois side the sea is ideal blyth beach looked good also.
