Where to buy bait on a Sunday morning?

Right. Managed to wangle a few hours free tomorrow morning to take my little lad fishing. I'm going to try for flatties on Seaton Sluice beach for now as it's close to home and I don't have much time before domestic duties kick in at lunchtime.

So, where can I get bait from on a Sunday morning? Anybody know if the fishing shop in Blyth or Lewis's in Whitley Bay open on Sunday? No info on t'internet and I've left it too late to phone 'em up...as usual...
Cheers
Rob

Now there's a thought! Thanks very much for the suggestions. Do ID and Billy's open at 8, then? Spoilt for choice in that case!
Was thinking of a last minute dash to sainsburys to see if they had any mussels left...good to know I can have a beer in front of the telly instead.

Will let you know what we decide to do. If we go for St Peters do we fish into the basin or the river? I'm guessing the river...

fish into the river Iam sure Id opens at 9am but frazers is definitely open at 9am dont know about billys but used to be open canny early

Got some rag and squid from the shop in Blyth first thing - thanks to all for the info.
Tried to fish from Sluice harbour wall but gave up after half an hour - so windy that my little boy kept getting blown all over the shop. He was freezing and it was no fun.
we set the last few worms free...
Now to see if I can hide the squid in the freezer without the boss finding out...
