Where to buy my bait from?

Where do people recommend i get my fishing bait from. Been a while since i was last sea fishing so wondering where the best place is for me worms. Have been looking on the net for bait suppliers and wonder if anyone has tried buying online.

Or being a young whipper snapper does anyone know whre i could dig some worms. Was once told that on a spring tide i could dig white rag next to Blyth pier, though never treid it (the one without the windmills )

depends where your based m8 i get my rag and sand eels from billys ,squid and maccy from the local fish monger
digging next to south peir im not sure about but a lad did mention a spot up by some pub so that might be the pitch but i think he meant further over so ill pass ,a few of the lads with local info will be more help

Stu you can get white rag down there but its hitty missy mate and hard work.

Stuey the only places I would buy bait from now (and I have tried a few) would be Scotts of Whitley bay and Billy\"s at North Shields. I have had bait from others but have also been let down too many times by them.
