where to fish

looking for somewhere to fish with the kids over south shields area

must be somewhere we can get the car beside us so when there cold can jump in the car for abit

any decent places where we might catch out

There are a few good places in the river tyne for this...

-Mill dam (customs house)
-Brighams
-Coble landing
-Angel statue
-Walkway
-The dissused call centre


All of these marks are within a stonesthrow of each other and are easy for you and your kids to fish. My personal favourite would be the customs house as on the far side you can park your car and fish right next to it!!

Plus, if you fancy a snack/coffe/tea, etc, the customs house is directly to your right.
