Low tide 22:00 Thurs? Fish one hour out two hours in over low water. Try Seaham Hall (North end of the prom). Whitburn beach (behind the Bents). Whitley Bay beach (just North of the cafe). Blyth beach (middle to South end). Lynemouth (North end or South end of the Carrs). Druridge Bay (South end) ...

Go on. Try the beaches. Get you waders on. You know you want to.

On t'other hand if it's tooooo windy you might best stick to the rivers, try near the estuaries over low water, somewhere out of the wind ?

Worra wimp! Think of all the fresh air ;-)

Now't to do with being a wimp, years of just experience knowing when the conditions are right or wrong, one good sesh when its right is better than several in the wrong experience stading like a t*t catching nowt
