What are some good marks lately that have been given out decent and big fish between tynemouth and sea houses? Whatis alnmouth river like for flatly bashing?

Alnmouths a good shout Stevie.
Not much cop when there's fresh water coming down, but just about anywhere from the bridge down to the mouth is canny for flatties.
Best fished over high water and into the ebb down to nearly low.
Use 2 or 3 hook flappers, and any of the usual baits but be sure to take some mackerel or herring with you.

hi stevie,dont neglect some large cooked prawn from the supermarket,tipped off with a bit of fish in the estuarys can be deadly mate,herring better than mackerel,just needs a bit of elasticated cotton,this only seems to work on the smaller estuarys though,but with everything in flood at the moment up at your kneck of the woods head north if you can,if you can find clear water the pink in the prawn attracts the flatties(try bluey if you can get it,its super oily and as a tipper for bait it can outfish everything)

If you can get over to south shields the pier is throwing out some codlin and good coalies
