where's the all the cod lads,waiting for a good sea running maybe still time to get a few descent fish.cos that time to clean gear and put it away till next year is fast approaching,any reports of doubles this past week.

aye mate theyre gettig lean ,on the other hand last year we never ad much sea on then in march i had a go and got a good bag off fish best was 6 pound an i was shocked so for me now its not over till the fat lady sings mate

I think the season has been disappointing for codling like last year. But i,ve hammered the flatties and whities-so i cannot complain.

Aye keep ya gear out whiteys will die of soon until the mackeral are in and you start to get loads as soon as dusk falls as they come in 2 feed on the sprat, flatties will stay all year round. Basically if we get a good sea running soon with these temperatures being the way they are you could still ave a chance of a good fish or even bagging up on the smaller cod. Normally Feb is the last month of decent action unless conditions are right in March.

I,ll tell you where all the cod are dappa, the other side of the north sea, off the coast of norway cos they look after thier stocks. any ivan ,pedro or henri can hoover our depleted fish stocks up.and nobody except us gives a dam.

well i will tell you what i will do,it doe's't take much persuation so i'm off fishing tommorrow night .maybe try my luck at the wherry ,bit lug,crab and blueyies,wish me luck lads and i will post results on friday.
