If you could only use 6 flies all season, 3 on the stillwaters and 3 on the rivers, what would they be and why

Hypothetical question I know, as we all have boxes full to the brim with hundreds of different patterns.

:D :D

the 6 the bloke next to me thats catching all the fish is using. failing that

hoppers, maybe a greenwells glory, dunkeld (apart from cow green the only still waters I fish are scottish lochs)

on the ol\' river, much easier,

silver blue and teal (or variations of), bloody butcher, pheasant tail nymph if it were wets

adams, klinkhammer, black gnat if it were dries

Rivers - orange partridge,March Browm,Pheasant tailed nymph.

Lakes - orange dogknobbler, damsel nymph and a dry sedge :D

Not easy. I use very few flies in any one session, but thinking about it, I must use quite a few different over the course of a season.

Anyway, my six would be:

Black buzzer
Bibio
Carrot fly
Waterhen Bloa
Klinkhammer
Stoats Tail
