i had the mk2 1 with the foldy down ring on the butt section my dad got a blank aswell out the back door of the factory and got new fuji guides on it nice rods in thier day price wise i haven,nt a clue.

price

price

a mate of mine had the three les moncreffe tourneys 3-4 5-6 6-7 if i remember they were a mind boggling £83 each my wages at the time were£ 28

hardy was the top dollar in its day still prob one of the best

you can tell with the build on this rod mate:D its about the same
age as me (29) and has more than a few scratches and scuffs but the blank itself is sound and its still a cracking rod:D:D
not many rods around now that have lasted this long and are still
usable:D

just a quick question where the rod joins together at the wooden spigot
theres about a 1cm gap where you can still see the spigot when the rods connected together:confused: is this normal or has the spigot warped:confused:
mind its in tight and theres no vibration when you use the rod! any ideas?

ive heard rumours that fish fingers and his son are working on a 13ft light sabre with gold threading that will chuck a lead for miles, its suprising what knowledge can be gleaned and manufactured in the north east just ask nissan they do alright out of what is basically a big garden shed:D:D:D
